Square Enix an Avalanche Studios have shown the latest trailer for Just Cause 4 over the X018 in Mexico. The brand new trailer is basically a mercenary’s paradise as you have access to tons of vehicles and weapons that you can use to create havoc. The trailer also stars a tornado which in the game can roll up on the set at any time and mess up your big plans.
The cinematic trailer shown by Square Enix in the X018 event was followed by Avalanche Studio’s Game director Francesco Antolini by highlighting some of the upgrades that will be in the new game when it launches on 4 December on the PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC. Take a look at the trailer below:
One of the biggest new additions to the game is the tornado that acts as an interactive storm. That is if exploding tanks, flying jets, demolishing buildings and gunning down each and every one of your enemy is not enough for you. Francesco talked about the inclusion of the tornado in to the game,
The tornado puts a huge amount of stress on the other systems we’ve built in Just Cause. But we’ve built it in a way where you’ll see it in more than just missions; we want it to be part of the world, even when you are roaming around on your own.
In addition, Avalanche Studios also claims to have overhauled vehicles with some added functionality, where several new vehicles will be available with new physics for cars, motorbikes, jet skis and even micro-jets.
However, the most notable gameplay improvement is on the new grappling hook, which apparently boasts more tethers, booster rockets and even the capability to attach air lifters for some easy transport of heavy items.
Just Cause 4 releases early next month in December, which gives us enough time to prepare for another round of this freeform destruction, explosions, grappling hooks, and now even a tornado.
