IO Interactive, the studio behind the HITMAN series, has thrilled fans with the announcement of the return of The Undying to HITMAN World of Assassination, featuring the iconic two-time BAFTA winner Sean Bean. Bean will reprise his role as Mark Faba, the former MI5 agent turned freelance assassin known for his habit of faking his own demise. Players can embark on this thrilling mission starting March 22, 2024, across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms, with the mission available for four weeks.

The Undying 2024 – Included in the Starter Pack, Free for All Players
Originally introduced in HITMAN 2, Sean Bean’s Mark Faba quickly became a fan favorite in the HITMAN community. In The Undying 2024, players will hunt down Faba in the vibrant Miami map, aiming to thwart his plans during the Global Innovation Race event. The mission will be accessible to newcomers via a free-to-play Starter Pack, allowing unlimited replays throughout its duration. Existing HITMAN World of Assassination players can access The Undying as part of the original Elusive Target content, with the opportunity to unlock special rewards.
Accompanying the return of The Undying is a DLC pack featuring exclusive content:
- The Ouroboros: A three-level Arcade contract featuring The Undying, providing permanent access to the mission via Arcade mode.
- The Ephemeral Suit with Eye Patch

The Season of Undying – Live Updates, Free for HITMAN WOA Players
IO Interactive also unveils the Season of Undying, introducing exciting in-game content over the coming months:
- Berlin Egg Hunt: Players can unlock the Raver suit by participating in this event.
- New Challenges: Test your skills and earn deadly items as rewards.
- Returning Elusive Targets: Five fan-favorite targets make a comeback, along with three rounds of Curated Contracts.
- Twitch Drop: Watch one hour of HITMAN World of Assassination on Twitch between March 22 and March 30 to unlock The Purple Streak Duck Twitch drop.
HITMAN World of Assassination is available now on multiple platforms, with The Undying Pack set for release on March 22, 2024, priced at $4.99. Previous Elusive missions included the DJ Dimitri Vegas.
