HyperX has announced and launched its Cloud MIX Buds, in-ear gaming headset that come with 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity. The multi-platform ready dual-wireless earbuds are designed for gaming, featuring signature HyperX Sound and DTX Headphone: X.
The Cloud MIX Buds are HyperX’s first True Wireless (TWS) gaming headset that includes dual-mode wireless connectivity, with low-latency 2.4GHz wireless for gaming and Bluetooth®1 5.2 for listening where-ever you go.
Bianca Walter, Business Manager HyperX EMEA had this to say about their new gaming headsets.
We are excited to enter the true wireless market with a truly game-changing technology enabling gamers to take their game with them where-ever they go. HyperX continues to meet the ever-changing needs of gamers across all platforms, including those who want a dual wireless connection with split-second quick changes across multiple platforms.
The in-ear headsets offer fast gaming-grade wireless connections with multi-platform compatibility. The Cloud MIX Buds utilize a 2.4GHz USB Type-C wireless adapter or Bluetooth wireless for media devices or mobile. The Cloud MIX Buds also include a USB-C to USB-C desktop adapter that will further improve accessibility and enables the dongle to serve as a remote control to switch between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity.
Moving on the physical properties of the headsets, the Cloud MIX Buds feature signature HyperX comfort with three included silicone ear tip sizes for a perfect fit. The charging case of the headsets protects the Buds from damage, while a silicone sleeve that is also included with the case will help you store the 2.4Ghz USB-C adapter.
The battery of the Cloud MIX Buds offers up to 33 hours of power on a single charge. The Buds were tested at 50% headphone volume, continuous playback. Using A2DP mode earbuds have up to 10 hours of battery life and up to an additional 23 hours using the charging case. Using ultra-low latency mode earbuds have up to 6 hours of battery life and up to an additional 15 hours using the charging case.
Back in February, HyperX launched a pink and white colorway Hyperx Cloud II headsets, while a blackout version of the Cloud Alpha headset was launched last year.
