Ubisoft has revealed some details about the upcoming Hyper Scape Season 3. Starting with the reveal date set for March 11, 2021. The new season in the game will bring exclusive content including a revamped map, a new hack, new story elements, customization items, and a battle pass with 100 tiers.
The details begin with the new content that players can expect in Hyper Scape Season 3, where you will get the chance to test your speed and skill in a revamped Neo Arcadia 2.0 map, and try a new Deployable Hack, the Firewall, which creates a barrier to block incoming fire while allowing you and your squad to shoot through.
Moreover, the revamped map also brings in new key landmarks, a more diversified terrain and identifiable zones for players to traverse. There are plenty of challenges for veterans and new players to try out.
Moving on to the game features in the upcoming season, where the game will now introduce a new 2D Hub Flow in the main menu. This optimized menu will offer a faster and more interactive experience to view your full squad with their selected outfits, while also allowing you to use the Locker and Shop during matchmaking.
In Season 3, Hyper Scape will be restructured to feature three always-on Game Modes:
- Crown Rush Squad – 60 players, ranked
- Crown Rush Solo – 60 players, unranked
- Team Deathmatch 6v6, unranked
Lastly, Ubisoft has also released the story of Season 3,
SEASON 3 STORY: A SHADOW TEMPLE RISES IN HYPER SCAPE
Despite Prisma Dimensions’ assurances that everything is under control, strange anomalies continue to plague Neo Arcadia. The mysterious floating structures that appeared after the Blackout have coalesced into a temple that floats high above the city skyline. Basilisk is the first contender to find a way up to it.
Inside, Basilisk confronts a primal force of the Hyper Scape: Tower. Tower claims it (he?) has lost pieces of himself and charges Basilisk with recovering them in exchange for power and glory. Basilisk recruits a new face, the roguish hacker Huo Shu, to raid Prisma HQ for one of these Fragments. Meanwhile, Prisma’s own forces, under the cold hand of Nikita and his new enforcer, Bai Hu, prepare to eradicate these anomalies in any way they can.
Every week, players can collect new Memory Shards to dive deeper into Season 3’s story and lore. Additionally, Basilisk and Tower’s story will be featured in Issue 3 of the Hyper Scape Comics, released in chapters during Season 3.
