God Eater 3 Switch

God Eater 3 developers over at Marvelous have discussed the possibility of a Nintendo Switch port of the game. God Eater 3 was released at the end of last year in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PC.

Fans of the gaming series have been wondering if Bandai Namco will bring the game to Nintendo’s portable console, as the publisher is very active in bringing out games for the console.

In an interview to IGN Japan, the producer of God Eater Yusuke Tomizawa was asked about the possibility of a Switch Port. His reply was:

After the announcement, we heard a lot of people saying that they wanted God Eater on portable systems. As I mentioned earlier, God Eater 3 exists on the PS4/PC in the way that it does because we prioritized brushing up the quality. I feel like it’s necessary for us to listen to what the users have to say, including those on the Nintendo Switch.

He also commented that the team was aware that people want to see the game on the portable console:

There are plenty of people who can’t use their TVs to play games when they’re at home, and we consistently have requests from those people come in. So, we’re cognizant of it to be sure.

Nintendo Switch has got many games that have come out in the past months like Darl Souls: Remastered, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Katamari Damacy Reroll and many more. All of these games have been met positively and to a good response from players.

There is no surprise that players would want to see God Eater 3 on the go to play whenever they want. The game is an action RPG, which is similar to Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, where instead of cutting off monster parts, you will have to devour them.

God Eater 3 is launching for the PlayStation 4 and PC on 8 February, 2019. Would you like to see the game on the Switch? Let us know in the comments below.
