Gigabyte Aorus Reveals New Gaming Boxes Featuring RTX 3090 and 3090 with Built-in Water Cooling

Gigabyte has released a new lineup of AORUS Gaming boxes which will feature NVIDIA’s new RTX 3090 and 3080 graphics cards. The Gaming box possesses the power to turn any Ultrabook or notebook laptops into a fully capable gaming system when it is connected to the Aorus Gaming box.

The Gigabyte Aorus Gaming box not only features the GeForce RTX 3090/3080 graphics card based on the Ampere architecture but also has built-in water cooling so that the cards can work to their maximum potential without being bothered by thermal issues. The Aorus Gaming Boxes are the world’s first external graphics box to feature a water-cooling system.

The Gaming Box features the Aorus Waterforce cooling with an optimized pump and water block and a large copper plate that provides the most efficient water flow and cooling performance with low noise levels. The Water-cooling system also cools the VRAM and MOSFET along with the GPU to ensure a longer lifespan. The cooling solution that Gigabyte has fitted features a 240mm aluminum radiator with two 120mm fans all in a compact form factor.

For connectivity purposes, the Gigabyte Aorus gaming boxes have Thunderbolt 3 which allows users to transfer the power of a full-sized system into an Ultrabook without any delays and performance loss,  It will now be possible to play games with RTX enabled on an Ultrabook which has never been done before according to Gigabyte.

The Gaming Box also features a built-in network chip for interruption-free internet connectivity. Creators can also use the power of the Gaming boxes to perform heavy load tasks such as rendering, editing, etc. The Gaming box also has RGB lighting which can be addressed through the AORUS engine or Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0.

Currently, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the Aorus Gaming Boxes, but one thing we can say is that they won’t be coming cheap.
