During last night’s Ubisoft Forward 2020, Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon Breakpoint Title Update 2.1 will finally add AI teammates to the game. To celebrate the release of this brand new feature for the game, Ubisoft has also announced a free weekend for Ghost Recon Breakpoint for players to try out the new update from July 16 – 19, 2020. Title Update 2.1 is slated for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on July 15, 2020.
The addition of AI teammates to Ghost Recon Breakpoint will allow players to experience the game in a completely new fashion and it will open up new gameplay opportunities for them as well. These AI teammates can be enabled or disabled from the menu at any time so players can have the experience that they are most used to playing with. The implementation of AI teammates in Ghost Recon Breakpoint retains all of the features and abilities that were part of Ghost Recon Wildlands.
You will be able to give them orders, use the sync shot, and the ability to wait for your teammates to revive you instead of an instant death while playing in solo mode. Along with these features, there are some additional features in Ghost Recon Breakpoint as well such as you will be able to fully customize their physical attributes and gear. You can also pick your team’s main weapon which will change how they engage enemies in the game.
Starting July 16, you will be able to take in the brand new event Resistance! As well. During the event, Nomad will support the Outcasts during their counterattack on Sentinel Forces and assist them in their tasks. These activities will include saving prisoners, attacking Sentinel outposts and stopping their convoys, and looking for survivors. Completing these live event’s missions will allow players to have a direct impact on the presence of rebels throughout Auroa. This will enable the Outcasts to initiate faction warfare between them and the Sentinel forces or the Wolves.
14 exclusive rewards are waiting for you to unlock during this live event. The event runs from July 16 to 29, 2020, and all main missions will still remain available for players even after the event ends. Title Update 2.1 also introduces new Ghost War PvP content including the observer mode and item drops. Different improvements to the game mode have also been implemented in the game based on community feedback and requests. All of this will eventually lead to the launch of Episode 3 slated for release later this year.
