Apart from adding Geralt as a playable character to the game, Capcom is also stating that special quests will be added in Monster Hunter World to celebrate the union of two great franchises. The special RPG elements of The Witcher franchise will be combined with those of Monster Hunter World to give us a totally, never before seen game mechanics.

Since Geralt hails from The Witcher franchise which has some really unique fighting mechanics which feature Geralt using his signature magic signs and fighting moves. Geralt will be voiced by Doug Cockle who has voiced him for The Witcher III. This means that this is going to be a really authentic The Witcher experience in Monster Hunter World.

Those of you who are unaware of Geralt of Rivia, he is the main protagonist in CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher franchise. The last title in the franchise which concluded the story came out in 2015. Geralt of Rivia is good at one thing and that is slaying monsters which makes this DLC even more authentic.

We do not know at this point how much more The Witcher content will be added to the game such as potions and weapons however we cannot wait for further details. Apart from this, The Witcher 3 x Monster Hunter World will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One first. PC players will sadly need to wait for a future announcement by Capcom about when will the PC players receive this awesome DLC.

Monster Hunter World is now out for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
