Playground Games held their latest Let’s Go livestream in which they revealed the upcoming Series 11 Update for Forza Horizon 5. Forza Horizon 5 Series 11 Update is celebrating Rami’s Racing History and it will allow you to experience Mexico’s rich heritage of automotive history. It will add a new Horizon Story along with a Festival Playlist that celebrates different eras of car culture and new deals throughout the weeks on highly coveted classic automobiles.

Starting with the new Horizon Story, Made in Mexico is all about experiencing the rich automotive world of Mexico. Your friend Ramiro will invite you to take a tour spread across eight chapters where you will explore the major eras of manufacturing and car culture in Mexico. The story will feature some of the most iconic Mexican vehicles including the home-grown sports car, the 2017 VUHL 05RR.

The new story will allow you to unlock new, exclusive rewards such as Farid Rueda Lion Jumper and Lion Cap along with the 1971 Meyers Manx Forza Edition. You also have 12 new Accolades to unlock in the new story, all related to completion and earning the highest number of stars. The Festival Playlist will have its own voiceovers as well. Two new Seasonal Speed Zones Green Hills Speed Zone and the River Run are also part of the update. Week 4 of the Season will feature a new Golden Trophy collectible challenge.

Classic Wednesday Sales are also coming back to Forza Horizon 5 where players will be able to get expensive classic cars on special sales. New clothing items coming to the game in the new update include:

  • Leaf Pattern Leather Boots
  • France Race Gloves
  • Italy Race Gloves
  • Japan Race Gloves
  • UK Race Gloves

  • Watermelon Crew Socks

Moving on to the most important aspect now which is the new cars coming to Forza Horizon 5 in the Series 11 Update. The Series 11 Update is bringing 7 brand-new cars for you to collect and drive around Mexico. All of these cars will be unlocked after completing their respective challenges over the next four weeks. These new cars include:

  • 2021 BMW M4 Competition Coupe
  • 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR
  • 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder
  • 1985 HDT VK Commodore Group A
  • 1990 Subaru Legacy RS
  • 2020 Xpeng P7
  • 2010 BMW E92 M3 GTS

Apart from the new series, cars, and Festival Playlists, Forza Horizon 5 will also be getting a big update with tons of game fixes. Some of the key fixes coming in the new update include:

  • An issue that caused players to load into the game with a different car than the one they were previously driving has been fixed.
  • Fixed the “Testing the Limits” Accolade not registering completion upon reaching 250mph.
  • Retroactive completion for the Series 9, Week 1, and Week 2 Treasure Hunts.
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed electric vehicles to have excessive horsepower.
  • Updated the door handle of the 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo.
  • Fixed an issue on the 2016 BMW M2 Coupé where gauges on the dash do not match the HUD gauges for MPH and RPM.

Forza Horizon 5 will also support display integration for the Thrustmaster T248X which will show game-related information such as:

  • Race Position

  • Last Lap Time

Fans who love making custom events would be happy to know that the update also adds new props in the EventLab Blueprint Builder such as a smashable Battery, eight smashable Extreme E billboards, and eight smashable Extreme E flags.
