Sports Interactive and SEGA have announced the release date of the Football Manager 2023 Console on the PS5. Football Manager 2023 Console is the console version of Football Manager 2023 and it is releasing on February 1, 2023, on PS5. Football Manager 2023 Console was originally announced for its PS5 debut back in November 2022 however due to some unforeseen circumstances, the game will now be released on PS5 this week.
Citing delays during the submissions and the approval process, fans were unable to jump into Football Manager 2023 Console during the holiday season. During its initial launch phase, all PS Plus members will be able to avail of a 20% discount on Football Manager 2023 Console until February 14, 2023. The discount total is consistent with the pre-order incentive that ran prior to the initial intended release date. Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive’s Studio Director comments:
We’re delighted with today’s update that we’re finally going to be able to get FM23 Console into the hands of PS5 gamers. Since the initial delay, the team at Sports Interactive and our colleagues at SEGA have worked tirelessly with Sony to overcome the issues and we’re pleased to now have a release candidate ready to launch next week.
While it’s unusual for us to release a game during a major football transfer window, our priority from the moment our initial launch was postponed was to get the game into the hands of PS5 gamers as quickly as possible. Once all the global transfer windows are closed, we will provide a data update for the PS5 edition in line with the updates for all of our other platforms.

It delivers all of this in an incredibly detailed and immersive experience. In Football Manager, you make all of the key decisions, from signing (and selling) players through training, team selection, and tactics as you take your team to the top of the footballing world while carving out your very own philosophy and strengthening your club’s identity.
Football Manager 2023 Console is the most recent version of the franchise and featured updated stats for all countries and players featured in the game. Due to its accuracy, Football Manager is used by several clubs to help shape their recruitment strategies and thousands of pro footballers and backroom staff members are known for their interest in the game. Currently, Football Manager 2023 is available on PC and will release next week on PS5 as well.
