Final Fantasy VII Remake Xbox One

Final Fantasy VII Remake was shown at E3 2019. The game had been in development for a long time and fans were excited to finally see what Square Enix had been working on for so long. Square Enix has now confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Remake will not be coming to Xbox One.

If you have a PS4 then you will be able to play the game on March 3rd, 2020. The game will have multiple chapters and those will be released with the passage of time. Final Fantasy VII Remake will not be coming to Xbox One, which might be a bummer for some fans.

Xbox Germany posting some images that suggested that the game would be coming to Xbox One but that does not seem to be the case. Xbox Germany’s marketing communications and social lead Maxi Graff later confirmed that this was indeed a mistake. Here is what he had to say regarding the matter:

I am truly sorry if I hurt anybody’s feelings. But be sure that this was not intended and just an honest mistake from a gaming loving human. Again: we will check our process on this to make sure this doesn´t happen again.

All hope is not lost. Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to have multiple chapters and while the game is not coming to the Xbox One, it could release on the next-generation Xbox Scarlett.

The Xbox Scarlett console is coming in the Fall of 2020, which is not far off from the release date of FF VII Remake, so there is a small chance of that happening. The upcoming console could offer better graphics and exclusive features that are not available on the current generation of consoles.

In other Final Fantasy news, Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers has just come out and it has got plenty of post-release content videos and information.

Let us know what you think about Final Fantasy VII Remake and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out next year.
