Dreamlight Games has announced that its first project Fear the Dark Unknown has crept onto Steam and players can now jump in the game and explore the secrets of the Beresford Mansion. The title took the developer 2 years in development but now the game is complete and out for horror fans just in time to kick-off 2020.
Fear the Dark Unknown takes its inspiration from classic horror titles such as Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil. Following their footsteps, Fear the Dark Unknown offers a lot of classic horror mechanics which fans of classic horror will be really glad to experience. The game revolves around the story of James Sullivan and his daughter Chloe. Both father and daughter duo explore the cursed mansion of the Beresford Family.
Both of them are trying to solve the mystery of Emma Sullivan, wife of James and mother of Chloe. While exploring the mansion, the duo will come face-to-face with creatures that they’ve seen before. The game offers a deep story as it follows the story of both James and Chloe. Both of the characters come with their unique stories. While exploring the mansion, you will dig deep into the lore of the game and try to find out what happened to Emma Sullivan.
Dreamlight Games has also announced that they will continue to support the title for a long time and free bonus content is already in works at the developer. All owners of the game will receive the post-launch content for free and later, a console release for the game is also planned. In the second quarter of 2020, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch players will also be able to experience the horrors of the Beresford Mansion.
