Fallout Classic Collection is now free to all Fallout 76 Owners

Earlier Bethesda had announced that all Fallout 76 players who purchased and played the game in 2018 will get the Fallout Classic Collection free of charge in 2019. The classic games collection is now free for all players and those who are eligible, can now download and play all three games for free.

The free Fallout Classic Collection is exclusive to PC so console players will need a PC to avail the free games. Fallout 76 was released to a very unhappy audience and since then Bethesda had to apologies to players around the world at different occasions. Bethesda had also promised that two future patches will greatly improve the game as well.

The first of these free patches are coming out next week on January 14. This patch will introduce a large number of improvements and changes and introduce some really cool features such as player vendors which will increase the RPG elements in the game. However, the main focus of the patch is to make more stable and improve its overall performance.

Giving Fallout Classic Collection free of charge to all early adopters of Fallout 76 was also a means to thank the loyal players for sticking with a broken game. Bethesda had hoped that this will somehow lessen the angry fans as well. The Fallout Classic Collection is now free to all eligible players.

Fallout Classic Collection includes the initial three titles in the franchise which are Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. Players who want to download the collection can simply head to Bethesda’s client and check their ‘Games’ section. The collection will be shown there.

After the first patch, Bethesda’s second promised will arrive at the end of January and will bring even more stability and performance improvements along with new content to the game. Bethesda is actively collecting fan feedback so that the game can be made better as quickly as possible.
