Top Hat Studios just concluded its Spring Showcase 2026, and it featured new trailers, news, and details for many of the titles coming under the publisher’s umbrella in the coming months. From the fast-paced parkour action of MOTORSLICE to the brutal 2D horror experience METAMORPHOSIS, the show had something for everyone. With demo announcements, release date reveals, and new publishing deals, Top Hat Studios is off to a solid start this year. Without further ado, let’s jump straight into the announcements now.
METAMORPHOSIS
Top Hat Studios has announced a brand-new partnership with developer luxan to publish the upcoming brutal 2D pixel art horror action game, METAMORPHOSIS. In this game, players will explore a dead world using any tools at their disposal. As a nun branded a sinner, now seeking absolution, players will journey towards the Golden Star to reach the last paradise left intact in the world. HALLOW BLADE
Another new partnership, HALLOW BLADE is a dark fantasy first-person action adventure game by developer Xekvera, and Top Hat Studios will be handling its publishing. In this game, players will step into the shoes of a wanderer who forms an unbreakable bond with the Hallow Blade, an ancient, possessed sword that hungers for revenge and souls. Offering strategic, fast-paced first-person combat and deep exploration, the game will see players overcoming the wrath of a cursed kingdom and its people.
MOTORSLICE
Next up, the publisher showcased a brand-new trailer for Regular Studio’s parkour action-adventure game MOTORSLICE. The game is set within the crumbling remains of a vast megastructure, and players assume the role of a girl named ‘P’. As P, the only goal in the game is to destroy every machine from the inside. Equipped with a powerful chainsaw and the skills to climb anything, players will need to parkour through the megastructure, climb massive bosses, and hunt down every piece of construction equipment they can find. MOTORSLICE is slated for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox on May 5, 2026.
DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE
Top Hat Studios is also teaming up with Yoyoyollie to publish DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE, the upcoming cel-shaded aerial roguelike. The game combines deep combos of character-action games with the breakneck intensity of arcade flight dogfighting. You play as a Courier whose sole job is to deliver a package through the heart of a chaotic warzone. You must pilot your aircraft and use a variety of mechanics, such as drift and boost, to blast your way through elite fighter squadrons, blimps, mechs, and dragons. New upgrades will keep the gameplay fresh while making you more powerful.
Twinkle’s Galactic Tour
Top Hat Studios and developer Molegato (Frogun) shared a brand-new trailer for their upcoming title, Twinkle’s Galactic Tour, a vibrant 3D adventure game with low-poly anime aesthetics inspired by the 90s. Gameplay features a fusion of musical rhythm with platforming action. Players step into the shoes of Twinkle, an aspiring singer, and travel across the galaxy while rescuing her fans after a disaster at her debut concert.
The Backworld
Developed by Numor Games, The Backworld’s new trailer announced a demo release for all PC players. The Backworld is a surreal, narrative horror RPG, and interested players can now try it out through its official Steam page. The game plunges players into a cosmic adventure where reality is crumbling, and as players slip between dimensions, they will explore over 100 diverse areas ranging from terrifying, liminal spaces to traditional JRPG-inspired fantasy worlds. To survive in the game, they will need strategic decision-making, such as engaging in combat or relying on stealth.
Well Dweller
The next demo release comes from the developers behind indie hits such as Crypt Custodian and Islets. Well Dweller is a new dark, bizarre, twisted fairy-tale metroidvania in which players play as Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick. Glimmer must burn the wicked queen to save his family before they become part of her royal gown. Players will step into a whimsical but morbid fairy-tale landscape and battle terrifying beasts to gain new abilities and expand their world. Well Dweller’s demo will release on PC via Steam on April 23, 2026.
BECROWNED
Psychological, surreal survival horror game BECROWNED, developed by 13th Street Studio, also received its brand-new trailer during the show. This unique game blurs the line between medieval dark fantasy and rotting industrial horror as players step into the shoes of Richard Torrance. He is a cold and rational man, and his search for happiness has led him into a bizarre, dark ages nightmare ruled by the Omen Raven.
