SOEDESCO has announced that the sci-fi adventure game ELEA is releasing on PS4 at the end of July 2019. ELEA was earlier released on PC via Steam and Xbox One however now the title is finally heading to PS4 as well. The PS4 version will come with numerous PS4 Pro enhancements so the players who own the 4K variant of the console will enjoy increased visual fidelity. The title will also feature better audio and gameplay additions.
ELEA was nominated for the ‘Best Audio’ category by the Central & European Game Awards and for the ‘Best Game Music 2018’ category by the Game Audio Awards. Ever since the game’s release, the developer has released even more updates for the game making it even better than it was at launch. The most helpful aspect in making the game better was fan feedback and the developer has been actively listening to the community.
Numerous updates and patches have fixed a lot of bugs in the game and have also improved the game quality visually. The gameplay has also been worked on and is now more fluid and streamlined than ever before. The PS4 version will include all these fixes and improvements and will add even more enhancements for the PS4 Pro version. The PS4 version has 200 additional tweaks and additions as compared to the other platforms.
The movements speed has been increased along with the clarity of the game. The game also has additional assets, better lighting and interactions have been improved as well making the gameplay much fluid. All these improvements and additions make the world of ELEA even more stunning in the first person perspective. It also comes with a brand new save system as players will not encounter additional progression checkpoints throughout the game making the progress easier.
PS4 Pro version also features Dynamic 4K while the normal PS4 has Dynamic 1080p. The PS4 Pro enhanced version also has better visual effects like high-quality reflections, anisotropic filtering and much more detailed shadows to name a few. These visual improvements will certainly improve the player immersion in the game and will allow them to explore a better version of the game.
In ELEA, you play as Elea who is a space scientist and goes on a recovery mission to find her husband Ethan. Ethan joined an expedition to colonize Solace, a habitable exoplanet after Earth was struck by a horrid childhood disease in 2073. However, the interstellar ship he was on, Pilgrimage, went radio silent after it reached Solace and nothing came out of it. Elea goes to investigate what had happened to Ethan and the expedition after 13 years.
ELEA is slated for release on PS4 on July 25, 2019. It is now available on Xbox One and PC via Steam.
