Rocksteady Releasing Previously Promised Batman Skin for Batman: Arkham Knight

Batman Arkham Knight Skin

Rocksteady Studios has announced that the previously promised Earth 2 Dark Knight Skin is finally arriving in Batman: Arkham Knight on January 28, 2020. The brand new skin will be available for everyone who owns the game on PS4. Starting January 28, players can head over to Batman: Arkham Knight and download the brand new epic Earth 2 Dark Knight Skin.

There is a little catch however to the free skin. The Earth 2 Dark Knight skin is only available on the PS4 and so far Rocksteady has not announced whether PC or Xbox One players will get the skin or not. Fans are pretty upset over this and as expected, the Twitter post is littered with fans demanding the skin for their favorite platforms. Earth 2 Dark Knight skin is not the only DLC to arrive first on PS4 for Batman: Arkham Knight.

Many of the released DLC for the game which was previously released for PS4 as a ‘timed-exclusive’ never made it to Xbox One or PC. Fans are not happy over this. We all remember how did the PC launch of the title went and even with that, Rocksteady is still releasing ‘timed-exclusive’ DLC for the PS4 even when timed exclusive is one of the most ridiculous thing to have ever plagued the video game industry.

Batman: Arkham Knight was released back in 2015 on PS4, PC and Xbox One. The PC launch of the title was a bust to the limit that Rocksteady actually pulled the game from Steam and released it later after fixing the bugs and glitches of the game. Upon launch, the game received ‘Mostly Negative’ reviews on Steam not because of the game. It was because the port was so bad that players started hating an otherwise amazing video game. However, there are some rumors now that a new Batman game might be on the way as well.

Will you be jumping back in Batman: Arkham Knight to try out the brand new Earth 2 Dark Knight Skin when it comes out next week? Let us know in the comments section below.
