Witty Base Builder Dwarven Skykeep To Launch Next Month on Dec 1

Dwarven Skykeep

Publisher Ravenage Games and developer Hack the Publisher have announced the launch of their comedy-driven base builder Dwarven Skykeep, next month on December 1, 2022. The game will be available on PC via Steam, while a free demo is available right now for players to test the game out.

You play as an esteemed wizard, who is also a leading expert in the construction of block towers. Learn to hire and manage your dwarven employees, feed them beer to keep them satisfied, or risk the total demolition of your tower by goblin hordes.

Watch the game’s trailer below:

As you get used to ordering your workers, you must also build a card deck that is worthy enough to take on the challenges that await the game’s five unique worlds. Get accustomed to the game’s day-night cycle, spells, towers, dwarves, and more in Goblin World Enter the Shadow World as day turns to night and find a source of light to keep your dwarves hard at work.

As winter approaches, bundle up for Winter World and keep your workers warm with heat-generating artifacts. Towers will become trains in Train World, forcing you to burn cards to keep the engines running. Or you can take to the skies Dwarven Skykeep and build to your best ability as you float among the clouds in the sky. Meet and enlist different kinds of creatures – like Vampire Dwarves, Polar Dwarves, and even Gnomes! – throughout your adventure and strategize wisely to keep goblin gonks at bay.

Andrey Kiryushkin, Head of Studio at Hack The Publisher had this to say about their game,

“Dwarven Skykeep represents a quirky fusion of seemingly disparate genres: base builders, deckbuilders, colony sims, strategy, management and more. Beyond that, our game is funny yet respectful, which is seldom found in games these days. We can’t wait to finally launch this passion project of ours next month. Until then, give the free demo a try!”
