Developer PlaySide Studios has announced the launch of Dumb Ways to Die 4 on mobile devices including both iOS and Android. Dumb Ways to Die 4 is the latest entry in the Dumb Ways to Die mobile game series and in it, mischief, mayhem, and minigame madness return as the game goes back to its roots of the first title. Dumb Ways to Die 4 pays homage to its quirky game roots in the latest launch trailer of the game so make sure that you check it out below before we jump into the details:

Dumb Ways to Die features more than 70 minigames at launch across a range of unique locations and environments. You will need to think fast to overcome fast-paced, surprising challenges and save the Beans from their untimely demise. In doing so, you will end up rebuilding Beanville, and unlock Beans who provide unique bonuses for the minigames. Danny Armstrong, GM Mobile at PlaySide Studios comments that even though the studio expanded the franchise into different areas, mobile games will always be at the core of the franchise.

He further details:

For this ninth entry in the Dumb Ways to Die mobile game universe, we wanted to go back to the manic minigames people have long associated with the series. Think of Dumb Ways to Die 4 as the love child of the original Dumb Ways to Die game and Dumb Ways to Die 2.

With the success of the recent Dumb Ways TikTok trend, the original Dumb Ways to Die game topped the iOS game charts in 43 countries. As Dumb Ways to Die 4 has a similar feel to the original game, those who downloaded the mobile title for the nostalgia of the game are set to really enjoy the latest release.

Apart from releasing the game, the studio is currently also working on Dumb Ways to Die: Card Game in partnership with Spin Master along with Bean Land, a PC-focused multiplayer battle royale. After its initial release, PlaySide will continue working on Dumb Ways to Die 4 as well alongside the Netflix Games platform to release even more content for the game which is planned for 2024 and beyond. Additional details about those will be announced later. You can download the game right now as a free-to-play game on both iOS and Android devices. There are different in-game purchases, but the base game is free to download and play.
