PlayStack and Bolverk Games have announced that the sequel of their critically acclaimed VR shooter Dick Wilde, Dick Wilde 2 is releasing next month and it is packed with tons of new features and content that was specially requested by fans who played their first game.

Dick Wilde 2 will feature the main protagonist from the first game exterminator Dick Wilde who is back and this time, he has brought along some help. He has two apprentices this time around which will help him fight off the deadly ooze which has polluted the swamplands. All the sea life has been turned into mutated monsters and it is up to Dick Wilde to stop it.

Players will get to use Dick’s deadly arsenal of super-powered weapons which range from gravity guns to arrows which are infused with divine lightning. Players will also have access to mortar strikes and AI assassin drones to ensure that none of mutant monsters get away with their lives.

Dick Wilde 2 will introduce co-op to the franchise and players will be able to bring their friends along for a fun filled swamp ride. Dick Wilde 2 also features cross-play between PC and PS4 which means that friends can jump in together for some VR fun even if they are not on the same platform.

The PS4 version also supports PlayStation Aim Controller and PlayStation Move Controller support which will further add to the VR experience on the console. While in co-op mode, players and their friend will jump in Dick Wilde’s apprentices’ shoes and dish out the pain to the enemies.

The developers have taken fan feedback very seriously from their first title in the franchise and have tried to include as many requested features in the upcoming second title in the franchise. Players will have more difficulty options to choose from, squeeze even more power out from weapons using power ups and even bigger boss fights.

Dick Wilde 2 is coming out exclusively on PSVR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive in February 2019.
