THQ Nordic has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed and it showcases co-op gameplay in action. The original 2005 release of Destroy All Humans! 2 allowed PS2 and the original Xbox players to experience the entire campaign with split-screen co-op and it appears like the new remaster Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed will also allow the same. Check out the trailer below before we jump into additional details:
The trailer showcases various points of the main campaign of the title being played in co-op and the mayhem that follows. The full campaign of Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed can be played in co-op mode, and this means that both of the players can look after each other in the game as they both work alongside to take revenge against the KGB who destroyed your mothership. We can also see some of the key locations from the main campaign in the trailer and how playing in co-op actually helps out both the players.
Since missions in Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed are the same open-map missions and give the players plenty of space to play around, both co-op players can take different approaches and take over the KGB from various directions. The campaign will progress equally for both players even if they decide to continue it solo later. This brings back the good old days of local couch co-op when you had campaigns to play together locally with your friends as well.
THQ Nordic previously revealed the cool and massive Collector’s Edition for Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed along with its release date announcement. Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 30, 2022. Additional details will be revealed later.
