Bungie has released the latest trailer for Destiny 2: Lightfall and it provides a glimpse of Neptune before the expansion officially arrives next month. The trailer showcases the newly discovered metropolis of Neomuna, filled with futuristic skyscrapers and neon lights. The trailer also gives us a small glimpse into what is happening on the planet and how Calus is invading the main city as Guardians grapple their way through the city using the new Darkness subclass, Strand. The trailer also introduces us to the Neomuna’s defenders called the Cloud Striders who ask for the Guardian’s help in protecting the people from Calus’s invasion. Apart from this, Bungie also announced that celebrations for the Year of the Rabbit are now live in Destiny 2 and players can find a new Exotic Ghost, Ship, Sparrow, and a festive ornament for the Riskrunner in the Eververse store.
All players who login into the game will also find a red envelope filled with free bright dust waiting for them in the Eververse store. This is available until the end of January, so you have over than a week to grab your free bright dust. If you need a new emblem, you can grab the new Year of the Rabbit emblem by using the emblem code TNN-DKM-6LG. The Season of the Seraph is currently live in Destiny 2 where players are working to restore the Warmind, Rasputin, to prepare for what Witness has in store.
You can participate in the Moments of Triumph until the end of the Season to honor your achievements over the past year of Destiny 2. The next expansion for Destiny 2, Lightfall, is slated for release on February 28, 2023, where you will be able to explore the futuristic metropolis that has been taken over by Calus’s Shadow Legion.
