Publisher PRISMATIKA and developer QCF Design have announced the release date for their new title Desktop Dungeons: Rewind – Daily Demo. Desktop Dungeons: Rewind – Daily Demo is a new highly replayable, procedurally generated challenge game designed to give a hard time to the best players out there. Desktop Dungeons: Rewind – Daily Demo will release on PC via Steam on January 25, 2023, and it will be a free title. You should note that this is not the full release of Desktop Dungeons: Rewind but a demo that will present a new dungeon every day for you to try out.

Desktop Dungeons: Rewind – Daily Demo will allow players to experience a slice of the award-winning Desktop Dungeons puzzle roguelike challenge to everyone, every single day as the developers get ready to release the full game later this year. Every day when you sign into the game, you will have a fresh, new devious dungeon to run through. Along with this, a class combo will also be available which will shuffle alongside the dungeon as well.
You will explore the new dungeon, strategize, test your skills, plan your approach to healing, and kill everything that comes in your path to emerge victorious at the end of the dungeon. If you manage to win, you will be rewarded with a hoard of treasure. However, every player only gets one run every day and if you die once, your chance for that particular day will be over and you will need to wait for the next day to try your luck with a fresh set of classes and a new dungeon.
The Daily Demo’s key features include:
- Daily Challenge – This demo will refresh with a new dungeon and throw a new class at you every day. That’s right! Every single day you’ll get a chance to get rich… or die trying!
- Daily Demo Leaderboard – Achieve eternal glory and rise to the top of the daily leaderboard, compare your results, and prove to your friends that you are the ultimate dungeon master!
- Daily Healing by Exploring – Reveal hidden terrain to regain health and mana. But plan your route carefully or you’ll have nothing left to face the final enemy!
