UK publisher Merge Games and developer Laser Dog have announced the launch date of their upcoming chaotic, bullet-ridden twin-stick shooter, Deathrun TV. The game launches next week on 1st June 2022 and will launch on PC, Nintendo Switch and Stadia, while a PlayStation 5 release will follow at a later date/
Announced last year, the fats hardcore rogue-lite twin-stick shooter is set in the largest bloody studio where contestants will be competing against each other, risking their lives, all to please the audience for fame.

DEATHRUN TV is a fast hardcore rogue-lite twin-stick shooter set in the world’s biggest and craziest game show. You’ll experience real-time blistering speed and bullet-dodging action as you compete for glory…assuming you’re able to survive in this 2D bullet hell where only “likes” really count.
Deathrun TV contains plenty of weapons, and freakishly powerful mutations that you’ll get to unlock to survive swarms of rabid mutants to progress and level up your contestants. The fast-paced action will test the player’s reflexes through each arena.
There are epic boss fights waiting for you, where bosses like Zangbeed the Bear Wrestler, Eyeball, and Guard are ready to pulverize you. The more famous you get, the more mutations you can get to become powerful. These will come in necessary as you take on even more powerful enemies down the line.
