Behaviour Interactive has just confirmed that it will be bringing the iconic Ghostface character from the Scream movies. The announcement was made via a trailer that was released, with the confirmation that Ghostface will be the new killer in the game.
While this was just an announcement, a fully-featured reveal is planned for this week’s third-anniversary stream of Dead by Daylight. The stream will lay out the roadmap for Year 4 and will detail everything that we should be expected from the new killer’s gameplay. The stream is scheduled for tomorrow, May 31, at 12:00 PDT, and can be watched either on Twitch or on YouTube.

The trailer shows the iconic Ghostface killer from the Scream movies that many fans would easily recognize. This killer can be seen purchasing various weapons from a hardware store while killing the cashier in the process.
The addition of Ghostface is no surprise as it was already leaked earlier this month. The trailer just confirms the addition and sets the mood for the next killer the players can either play with or try to run from. The leaked information was shared on Reddit that details pretty much everything related to Ghostface, from abilities to cosmetics.
According to the Reddit post by u/Percophile, Ghostface has got a perk that tracks Obsession on a given survivor, and your terror radius decreases as your obsession is hooked. Another is the Shrouded Hunt power that allows Ghostface to remove the terror radius and marks the Survivors with an exposed status to allow for easier tracking one the chase is one. Ghostface can also move very stealthily while crouching and leaning around corners.
