Darksiders for Nintendo Switch Might Have Been Teased by Darksiders Twitter Account

Darksiders

In a fun twitter banter going on between THQ Nordic and Darksiders twitter handles, there appears to be a tease by the accounts about a Nintendo Switch release of the game. Considering that both Darksiders 1 and 2 where on the Wii-U, it is only a matter of when it might be coming in a Nintendo console again.

Though the tweets confirm nothing, but there may be something in development for the Switch that is not being revealed yet. However, based on a recent social media exchange between a fan and the game’s official Account, there might be a chance.

Following the comment, THQ Nordic stepped in to talk down the possibility of the games coming to the Switch, and then continued saying how Darksiders account wasn’t making any sense. The conversation then takes a turn into a friendly banter between the two twitter accounts.

Daksiders III was the recent title in the series that was released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Pc last year in November. The game is considered to be more like Dark Souls than the older versions of the game.

Darksiders was easily one of the favorite open-world games in the gaming world. The first two games of the series were developed by Vigil Games. But in a few years, it was taken over by THQ Nordic. Fans feared that the series would be lost following THQ shutdown, but it was not until THQ Nordic bought the license to the games and released Darksiders III late last year.

Though the conversation on Twitter is just a tease, we cannot expect any substance to it or what game might even make it to the Switch. Whether it be the first two games, or all the three games in the series, can all be in question. For now, this is just speculation, but fans should keep an eye out for any Darksiders announcement for the Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
