Cyberpunk 2077 Release No Longer Expected To Be In 2019?

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games that we can think of right now but what about the release date? We do not know when the game is going to come out but we do know that it will be released for current generation consoles. Keeping that in mind we all expected Cyberpunk 2077 to release in 2019 but that does seem like the case according to the new behind the scenes video.

The new video mentions that Cyberpunk 2077 will release when it is ready. Cyberpunk 2077 the first game that CDPR is making other than the Witcher series. The game was first revealed in 2012 and was then teased in a trailer in 2013 but then there was nothing. CDPR went dark for a long time and people that had questions had to keep them to themselves.

Cyberpunk 2077 was shown off behind closed doors to the media and a select few people at E3 2018. A few weeks after that, the demo video was released to the public and the fans just went crazy. CDPR has been revealing new information about the game and that got us hoping that the game might be closer to release and when we learned that CPDR would be at E3 2019, we expected that we would get a release date for Cyberpunk 2077.

Now that the behind the scenes trailer mentions that the game will release when it is ready, it seems unlikely. You can check out the behind the scenes video below:

Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for a long time and even though we expected it to release this year I guess we could wait some more if the game is refined and up to the CDPR mark when it comes out.

Game director of The Witcher 3 Konrad Tomaszkiewicz has also joined the Cyberpunk 2077 team and we have learned that the game will have unique weapons such as the Katana And Mantis Blades.
