A Crysis Remastered has been leaked and it will release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A confirmed release date is not known at this point as well as there is no official announcement about the release as of now. The leaked info of the game details as it ‘coming soon’ and reveals the platforms for the remastered version which also includes the Nintendo Switch.
We all know that Nintendo Switch lacks the power and a game like Crysis, which really made the PCs back then melt their cores, will suffer greatly on the console. Its original game still looks gorgeous even today and we can only imagine what sort of torture the remastered version will unleash on modern machines. Back in 2008, Crysis was the ultimate benchmark game for every build and very few PCs were able to run the game in all of its glory. Chances are that the Remastered version will now test the modern systems.
Crysis Remastered will also ship with advanced visual settings and support including higher quality textures, Cryengine’s native hardware, and Ray Tracing. We can already see that this is going to be a solid remastered version of the game. We cannot wait to test the mettle of modern hardware with Crysis running with Ray Tracing. The CryENGINE 2 delivered solid performance back in 2008.
The leak came from the Cookies Policy page of the official Crysis game website however the page has been removed since the leak. At this point, heading to the official website simply shows a picture of the game with some flashing lights in the background. An official announcement might be coming soon since the leak appears to be pretty solid this time around and also the official account for the game has been posting after a long time.
