CORSAIR has announced its first new innovative gaming and streaming laptop called VOYAGER a1600 AMD Advantage Edition. The VOYAGER a1600 AMD Advantage Edition combines a powerful AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processor, and AMD Radeon RX 6800M mobile graphics with CORSAIR and Elgato’s vast ecosystem of exclusive software and technologies. The new laptop is aimed at content creators, avid gamers, and full-time streamers.
CORSAIR VOYAGER a1600 packs a wide array of state-of-the-art tech into an impressively thin 19.8 form factor and it can be had with up to an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor and AMD Radeon RX 6800M mobile graphics to game at maximum settings and cruise through resource-heavy applications like Adobe After Effects or OBS Studio. Combining the two AMD powerhouses also unlocks the suite of exclusive AMD smart technologies.
These include the AMD Smart Access Memory which helps unlock high performance by providing select AMD Ryzen Processors with the address to the entire high-speed GDDR6 graphics memory. The CORSAIR VOYAGER a1600 also stays cool thanks to an advanced vapor chamber cooling system that evenly spreads, heat, achieving lower temperatures with a thinner profile than traditional cooling methods. The laptop is built with a 16” 255660×16000 QHD+IPS screen with superb color accuracy, displaying your gameplay in amazing detail.
Along with this, the screen comes with a ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Technology. All of this combines with the powerful RX 6800M mobile graphics to deliver the most intense gaming sessions that you can expect from a performance-oriented gaming laptop. The Corsair VOYAGER a1600 also incorporates technology from the content creation experts at Elgato and since this laptop is aimed at streamers, you will find plenty of additional features that will benefit streaming in particular. Right above the keyboard, you will find 10 additional easy-access customization S-key shortcut buttons which are powered by Elgato Stream Deck software. These keys put one-touch streaming control at your fingertips, and you can customize these keys to do whatever you want using the Elgato Stream Deck software.
Along with this, you will also find a 1080p 30FPS FHD webcam on the front side of the screen which allows you to stream your own video and even allow you to capture your audio with its directional 4-microphone array with ambient noise cancellation which clearly captures your voice even in busy environments. The keyboard features CHERRY MX Ultra-Low profile keyswitches that deliver mechanical precision and are illuminated by per-key RGB backlighting from ultra-bight and power-efficient CAPELLIX LEDs powered by CORSAIR iCUE software.
Ports included on the laptop are two THUNDERBOLT 3-enabled USB 4.0 and one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port allowing you to connect a variety of modern accessories and devices to the laptop without compromising on the speed. An integrated receiver built into the laptop allows you to connect up to three CORSAIR SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS peripherals for a strong, robust signal without using any of the USB ports for basic use. ORIGIN PC is also offering custom UV printing or laser etching options along with free lifetime 24/77 US-based tech support.
