Review: Construction Simulator 3

Weltenbauer.Software and astragon Entertainment have announced that their latest title in the Construction Simulator franchise, Construction Simulator 3 is heading to consoles. The popular construction sim was earlier available only on iOS and Android devices but now the game is all set to release on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The console versions will come equipped with a number of advanced features and functions.

The console release of Construction Simulator 3 follows its mobile game port where the game was selected as one of the Top 20 iPhone and iPad games of 2019 by Apple. On consoles, the game will allow you to slip in the role of an aspiring constructor in the fictional city of the European city of Neustein. As you build your construction legacy in the city, you will drive and operate more than 50 officially licensed vehicles and machines.

Some of the brands included in the game are Caterpillar, Liebherr, CASE, Bobcat, Palfinger, STILL, MAN, ATLAS, Bell, BOMAG, WIRTGEN GmbH, JOSEPH VÖGELE AG, HAMM AG, and MEILLER Kipper. You will take part in more than 70 challenging missions as you deploy the whole scope of your building skills. Assignments will range from small Bavarian-style family homes to industrial warehouses and skyscrapers as well as bridge-building missions including the refurbishment of crumbling roads.

The game offers a freely explorable open world which does not have any boundaries for your construction business. You will be able to take full use of your construction vehicles and machinery as you try to tackle some of the toughest jobs in the construction business. Allowing players freedom to explore the world will also allow them to spend more time in the game rather than just completing assignments and directly jumping to the next one.

The console release of Construction Simulator 3 will feature better graphics and additional missions along with many added features that were not present in the mobile port of the game. It will also come equipped with one of the most wanted features of the community which is active mirrors for all vehicles allowing deeper and more engaging gameplay.
