Pixelopus has announced that their upcoming colorful PS4 exclusive game Concrete Genie is coming out on October 8, 2019. This was revealed by Dominic Robilliard, Creative Director at Pixelopus, on the official PlayStation Blog where he also shared a brand new trailer for the game which revealed the release date as well as showed us some new screens from the upcoming game.
The new trailer shows Ash who is the protagonist of Concrete Genie skating around trying to avoid enemy attacks using a special ability called ‘Paint Skating’. Ash has a magic brush which is not just a simple magic brush. It comes with a lot of surprises that appear as Ash continues to paint his town and tries to revert it back to its formal glory.
His path however is not as simple as it seems because the force who first set the town dark is not going to let Ash color everything back that easily. The game will also include a Photo Mode right at launch which comes with a special timelapse style called ‘Replay’ which will allow players to show how they put their artistic compositions together.

Pixelopus has also announced that pre-orders for Concrete Jungle are now open. Players can now pre-order Concrete Jungle by heading to the PSN store. The standard edition costs $29.99 while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $39.99. Both versions of the game also include two VR modes for the game which were revealed some time ago along with the base game.
The Digital Deluxe version also includes a lot of goodies which includes the base game along with the VR modes, Digital Soundtrack, Digital Art Book, Pond Design Pack, Lighthouse Dynamic Theme. All pre-orders will also get a special Concrete Genie Avatar Set along with a Denska Dynamic Theme. The developer has also shared three beautiful wallpapers for everyone.
