Two different custom RTX 3090 cards have been listed online at the Chinese online shopping site Taobao. They include the Colorful RTX 3090 Vulcan-X OC and ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3090 OC cards. The Taobao listings confirm that OEM models of NVIDIA’s Ampere RTX lineup are getting prepared and should be ready shortly after the launch.

At least four custom graphic cards have been listed on Taobao, which include the ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 3090 OC Gaming, the Colorful GeForce RTX 3090 Vulcan-X, the Colorful GeForce RTX 3090 Neptune D, and the Colorful GeForce RTX 3090 Vulkan X-OC.

Out of the four models that have been listed, the Colorful Vulcan-X OC is listed for 16999 Chinese Yuan which converts to a whopping 2467 USD. The Colorful GeForce Neptune D and Vulcan X’s price also convert to 2000$+. The ROG STRIX OC Gaming card is priced at 18999 which converts to 2767 USD! It seems like these are still early listing prices and far from what the retail prices are going to be.

The OEM version of the RTX 3000 series cards is good news for the consumers who were put off by worrying rumors about the Founder’s Edition GeForce RTX 3090, including extremely high power consumption and high price. In the last generation Turing cards, many buyers found the custom version of the Turing series to perform better while either costing the same or less than Founder’s Edition cards.

The RTX 3090 will be the flagship card of the new 3000 Series lineup. The RTX 3090 will feature 24GB of GDDR6X memory and a bus speed of 384-bit. The RTX 3090 will be based on the GA102-300 GPU chip and will feature 5248 CUDA cores which is a 20% increase from last gen’s flagship, the 2080Ti. The next-generation Ampere GeForce RTX 3000 graphics cards are expected to be announced on 1st September on a special live event planned by NVIDIA.
