COLORFUL Launches CVN Guardian, WARHALBERD DDR4 Memory Series

COLORFUL has released two new DDR memory series which are called CVN Guardian and WARHALBERD. COLORFUL who was previously known for its NVIDIA GeForce series graphics cards recently expanded into manufacturing X570 and B550 motherboards and looks like they are continuing the expansion by releasing the CVN Guardian and WARHALBERD DDR4 Memory Series.

COLORFUL’s CVN Guardian RAM series is being aimed at gamers while the WARHALBERD series is aimed at the value-focused user. The COLORFUL CVN Guardian memory kit features addressable RGB that can be controlled by the popular motherboard vendors software and range in speeds from DDR4-2666 to DDR4 3200.

The COLORFUL CVN Guardian memory is available in 3 different single-stick speeds: DDR4-2666 8G, DDR4-3200 8GB, and DDR4-3200 16G. These are not the highest speeds but will perform stable and well on both AMD and Intel Platforms. COLORFUL confirmed that they are using Hynix CJR memory modules for the CVN Guardian series.

Coming to the WARHALBERD Memory series, the WARHALBERD is aimed at value users and has no flashy designs or RGB and no extra heat spreaders. The WARHALBERD lineup is simple in execution and comes in two speeds; a DDR4 2666 8GB stick and a DDR4 3000 8GB stick. The ICs used in the WARHALBERD series are CXMT (ChangXin Memory Technologies) DDR4 memory modules.

As far as pricing and availability is concerned, the COLORFUL CVN Guardian DDR4 memory will be available in select regions for $49, $69, and $99 for the DDR4-2666, DDR4-3200 8GB, and DDR4-3200 16GB, respectively. There is currently no information available for the pricing and availability of the WARHALBERD line.
