Citizen Sleeper to Get Three DLC Story Episodes in 2022 and 2023

Citizen Sleeper DLC

Indie publisher Fellow Traveller plans to release three free story DLC for its critically-acclaimed narrative RPG, Citizen Sleeper. In a roadmap detailed earlier this month, the three new episodes will drop throughout 2022 and 2023.

The new story DLC will be free to claim, deepening the lore of the game and adding new characters, story, and quests lines to discover on Erlin’s Eye

The first of the story DLC is Episode 1: Flux, which will launch sometime in July on an unannounced date. This episode will start a new story that expands across the three updates.

As pressures in the Helion system bring the first ships of a refugee flotilla to Erlin’s Eye, you must help those on board to arrive safely on the station before the quarantine locks them out.

The first episode will also introduce you to Eshe, a stubborn and driven spacer whose fate is now entangled with the refugee ships. Eshe’s story will challenge you to rely on more than just luck, having to deal with a growing crisis that threatens the entire station.

The two other episodes that will follow after Episode 1 might still be in development as Fellow Traveller has not elaborated on what to expect in the upcoming free DLC episodes following the release of Episode 1: Flux.

Citizen Sleeper DLC

Citizen Sleeper launched last month in May and was praised for its engaging and deeply enriching roleplaying experience. The thoughtful political commentary and the stunning world-building all add to its main features. The game currently has a rating of 95% Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam, making it an attractive game to purchase and play right now.

If you are wondering what platforms Citizen Sleeper can be played on, you can find it on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG, Epic, and Humble, and is also playable on Xbox Game Pass.
