As you can see in the trailer above, the game looks beautiful already and the Chinese architecture is gorgeous to look at. Celestial Empire is a unique city-builder as it is going along the lines that none of the developers have gone before as you will be building and exploring the beauty of ancient China in the game. You will build and govern your very own ever-growing cities by blending traditional Chinese architecture with the stunning natural beauty of the land. Two dynasties that you will see plenty in the game are Han and Tang dynasties.

These two dynasties are present in every aspect of the game, ranging from its visuals to the gameplay mechanics of governing the citizens. You will be building huge cities which beam with small details and vibrant colors. Thanks to the power of the Nanite Geometry system of Unreal Engine, Celestial Empire manages to reach the level of detail that no other city-builder has ever reached. This powerful system can allow the game to render tens of thousands of times more polygons per building compared to previously available city-builders.

The cities in the game can become massive in size and more varied and combined with Nvidia DLS 3, the new GPUs will be able to run the game in the highest possible quality without compromising on frames or game performance in any way. Even if your city becomes huge, there is no stuttering to ensure that your gameplay is not affected in any way.

Key features of the game include:

  • Build cities inspired by the stunning architecture of ancient Han and Tang dynasties
  • Seek gods’ blessings and work hard for miracles
  • Create and decorate your dream city, and watch it spread towards the horizon of a
  • hand-crafted map
  • Explore and bring the vibrant life of an ancient city to this forgotten land
  • Upgrade buildings to see the lavish lifestyle of the upper class

Celestial Empire’s Steam page is also live now where you can not only add the game to your wishlist but also request access to its Playtest. It is slated for a 2023 release however a confirmed release date will be announced at a later stage so keep checking back for additional information revealed for Celestial Empire.
