HeroCraft and badopticsgames have just launched a new Catizens overview trailer which showed us how each of the catizen has a distinct personality with unique traits, and how it is like to form an effective team of settlers from the adorable feline friends.

Check out the new trailer of Catizens below:

Inspired by RimWorld and The Sims, Catizens is a colony management simulation game where you watch over unique cats with quirky personalities, as you help them build and grow their settlement while exploring new lands, facing off against wildlife, and overcoming the challenges of each environment.

In Catizens, your main job is to build your own town around the personality of its inhabitants. Just like in real life and how cats behave, cats in the game will require personal attention and special treatment. Cats have different personalities and moods and will test how you form your relationships with each cat.

Each cat will give you personal requests to complete which in return will increase your bonding by learning what makes each cat happy in order to say on their good side.

You can create all sorts of unique cats with facial and body features, as well as personality traits to create cats with distinct looking temperaments. In addition, you will also have to design their homes with every piece of furniture of your choice among other items. The better the house looks, the happier your catizen will be.

The catizens are not just going to sit around in their houses, as they can learn a variety of different professions from farming, blacksmithing, and protecting local wildlife.

Catizens is planned for a release sometime later this year and was revealed last month. You can wishlist the game on Steam right now to follow future updates and buying it when it launches.
