The next title in the Call of Duty may have accidentally revealed to be Modern Warfare 4. A video showing NFL players enjoying the next title was spotted by GamesRadar yesterday.
The video is from a private event that featured NFL players who were invited over the weekend. This event gave the attendees a chance to play a little of the next game in the Call of Duty franchise.
There was such event where NFL players were invited, as many of the players posted on their social media about such an event, and hints about the game. However, no player had posted any details of the game, or its title.
On the other hand, the video that was shown seems to be a Snapchat video in which two NFL players, Florida State University’s Jacques Patrick and University of Georgia’s Ridley Ridley can be seen playing the game. In the video, it seems that “killstreaks” and “Modern Warfare 4” is said, but you can decide on your own of what to make for it. Take a look at the video below:
Call of Duty games are released every year now, and this year would be no different as a new game in the title is expected in Fall, 2019. However, no title of the game has yet been announced by Activision. The last game that the franchise released was Black Ops 4, which was developed by Treyarch and launched in October of 2018.
The last Modern Warfare game was Modern Warfare 3 which came back in 2011 and was developed by Infinity Ward. The new title would be welcomed by fans after an 8-year gap. But we might have to wait for an official announcement or Activision’s response to the video showing the NFL players.
