Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout

Activision and Treyarch have announced that a free trial of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout will start on 17 January for players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The free trial will last an entire week and give many players a taste of Call of Duty’s take on Battle Royale.

The free blackout trial will feature all characters, locations, weapons and gear from across the series. the trial will last about a week from 17- 24 January, though how players will get the trial for download is still not announced. It is most likely that a free demo will be available to download from each platform’s respective online game stores.

Take a look at the trailer for the free blackout trial:

In addition to the free trial, the new update v1.11 will bring in the Gauntlets and new elixirs in Zombies on PlayStation 4, a week of new featured playlist, the addition of Elevation and Madagascar to map rotation for Black Ops Pass owners in multiplayer, a new console looting interface in Blackout, plus more items. The update comes on consoles today, while the PC will get the update a week later.

Blackout comes out with its own version of Battle royale by mixing the elements from some of Call of Duty’s other multiplayer modes, such as computer controlled zombies in certain locations of the map, that usually are guarding a legendary weapon.

Like any other battle royale game, and similar to PUBG and Fortnite, the match starts with 100 players in one huge map. players then scavenge for resources and weapons to fight each other to be the last man standing. All the while being pushed into a tight circle from all corners over the course of the match. Once killed, players cannot respawn, so the last man standing or the last squad left alive is the winner at the end of the match.

This is the best chance to get your hands on Blackout for free. Are you going to try it? Post your comments below.
