Call of Duty Black Ops 4 releases October 12, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For the first time the PC version of game is coming to Blizzard Entertainment. Last month, Treyarch ran beta testing program of the game. They collected the feedback from participants and acknowledged to make changes in the final copy.
Additionally, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be the first game in the series to get into battle royale mode. The mode is called Blackout, where a number of players drop in a location for one life chance and fight till only one mad stands.
Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar has recently been teasing that the Blackout mode will get few changes. The changes will be coming to final version of the game. All changes are due to the feedback collected from the beta version.
He has teased the changes in a tweet mentioning that the armor will be balanced again for the final game. He mentioned it in a tweet that:
I’ve been to the future. I’ll tell you what happens. You are all very pleased with the nerfs we did to the armour
All the multiplayer modes always need some balancing. Treyarch has already taken into account the feedback they received during beta version. Although, the studio has remained silent on any details of the changes in final copy of the game.
Another change mentioned by David Vonderhaar about the Blackout mode is the item pickup behavior. During the beta phase, the item pickup button and weapon reloading, both were mapped for a single key. This slow down the pace of the game. This problem was found in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
