The brand new Official Map Expansion for Bus Simulator 18 is now available on Steam. Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer stillalive studios announced today that the Official Map Expansion is now live for Bus Simulator 18 exclusively on Steam. Players can now expand their bus company operations to two brand new district added to Seaside Valley.
This is the first map expansion for Bus Simulator 18 and it adds Kerststadt and Sonnstein regions to the current map Seaside Valley of the game. Players can now jump back in their favorite bus and explore the new districts to expand their bus routes or create all new routes including the previous routes as well.
The new districts are fully integrated with the original map so it is all seamless. Kerststadt is a bustling education and tech hub which also houses Seaside valley’s airport so players can expect to cater to students and airport travelers on this route. Sonnstein is a rustic alpine village with winding mountain rods and is full of many spectacular sites all over the district.
The Official Map Expansion will add nine brand new missions in the two new districts. 20 new stops are now part of the game along with new cosmetics and unique rider dialogue to keep you entertained on the new roads. Both the new districts are the complete opposite of each other as in Kerststadt, players will encounter students, entrepreneurs and other busybodies who are always in a hurry.
On the other side, players have Sonnstein which is a rural area and people are a lot laid back when compared with the busy and techy people of Kerststadt. Players will meet new characters who will help them establish their feet in the new districts. Players will need to purchase additional buses and set new routes to cater to the new districts. The Official Map Expansion also supports multiplayer so you can always enjoy the new roads with your friends.
Julian Mautner, CEO of stillalive studios says:
We’re really grateful to our community for supporting the game and helping us to get this far. We invite everyone to pick up the DLC and hop back behind the wheel alone or with some friends for a tour of the new districts.
You can head over to Steam to purchase the base game as well the map expansion. If you want more information on the title, make sure to visit the official website of the game.
The Official Map Expansion for Bus Simulator 18 costs $16.99 and is now live on Steam. Players will need the base game for accessing the new districts. Bus Simulator is also coming out on consoles soon.
