Asus ROG Swift monitors are designed for gamers that need higher resolution and higher refresh-rates. 144 Hz has become the standard for esports as it provides smooth gameplay which is vital for competitive games. Now the Asus ROG Swift Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ has been spotted at CES 2019.
This is not something that has got mainstream covered and we spotted this in a video from Linus Tech Tips. Linus did not talk about the laptop but we can see behind him that the Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ description mentions that it will have a 200 Hz refresh-rate which is very impressive indeed.
The monitor also comes with G-Sync support and it is one of the gaming monitors that Nvidia recommends with their RTX series of graphics cards even though with RTX features on it is highly unlikely that you will be able to play supported titles at 144 FPS. RTX is very taxing on graphics cards and getting games to run at 1440p 60 FPS is pretty hard and 4K is pretty much out of the question.
There is a lot that we do not know about this gaming monitor and Asus is still not talking about the price or when it will be available so stay tuned for more information and news regarding the Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 200 Hz gaming monitor.
