Ubisoft has officially announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is available now worldwide on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and through Ubisoft+. The remake is also available on Steam with Steam Deck verification.
Developed by Ubisoft Singapore, Black Flag Resynced rebuilds 2013’s beloved Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag using the latest version of the Anvil engine. Alongside upgraded visuals, the remake introduces several gameplay improvements, including revamped parry-focused combat, enhanced stealth and parkour systems, deeper naval gameplay, and additional narrative content.
Players once again step into the boots of Edward Kenway, the pirate-turned-Assassin whose journey unfolds during the Golden Age of Piracy. The story sees him crossing paths with legendary pirates such as Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack as the long-running conflict between the Assassins and Templars reaches the Caribbean.
To mark the game’s release, Ubisoft has also recreated the iconic E3 2013 reveal trailer using the remake’s updated visuals. The publisher has additionally confirmed that the soundtrack features Brian Tyler’s original score alongside 22 new tracks composed by Stephen Lukach. The official soundtrack launches on July 10.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is available in three editions:
- Standard Edition – $59.99
- Deluxe Edition – $69.99, including the Master Assassin Character Pack and Master Assassin Naval Pack
- Collector’s Edition – Includes all Deluxe Edition content alongside physical collectibles such as an Edward Kenway figurine, wearable metal brooch, SteelBook, cloth map, and additional bonus items.
