Blue Byte and Ubisoft have just released Anno 1800 Sunken Treasures DLC along with a new trailer announcing the new content. This is the fourth game update that brings in the DLC, along with bug fixes and rebalanced expeditions among other fixes.

The new Sunken Treasures DLC will give set you on the quest for glory and to be richer as you write history in bringing the empire back to its golden days. The storyline of the DLC is to find the missing queen who will lead you in search of watery glories. This is where Old Nate comes in hand, who is the new third party character.

Old Nate is a scavenger and also the inventor who likes to build his own inventions. One such invention is the new diving bell steamship. Old Nate will send out players to search for shipwrecks sunken in the ocean and bring him the materials needed to finish constructing his experiments. Old Nate’s workshop will offer you many items that you can use to maximize the potential of your empire.

Ubisoft adds that the new content will have payers engaged for about 6 hours of playtime because of the new storyline. You also get other quests, 100 new items, and new crafting mechanics.

Anno 1800 is a real-time strategy game that involves city building. While the previous games in the series all focused on the city building of the future like Anno 20170 and Anno 2205, the latest game is set in the 19th century. Where players will experience the Industrial Revolution, a time where city expansion was the vision of every man. With that of course, came the tourism, pollution and worker strikes which was common during that period.

Sunken Treasures DLC is part of Anno 1800’s season pass. With the season pass, you can get all the current DLC and future content. You can get the season pass from the Epic Games Store and Steam for $25.
