The CPU like other chips in the series is based on the 12nm process and comes with 4 cores and 8 threads, which is slowly becoming the standard for modern notebooks. The CPU some with AMD Vega graphics with 640 SP and it is clocked at 1200 MHz.

The AMD Ryzen 7 3750H has a base clock of 2.3 GHz and can boost to 4.0 GHz. This is very impressive indeed keeping in mind that the CPU has a TDP of just 35W. The little brother AMD Ryzen 5 3550H has similar specs but the base clock is 2.1 GHz and it can boost to 3.7 GHz. The graphics part is AMD Vega based but it only has 512 SPs. This will still give you much better performance as compared to Intel integrated graphics.
