Each bottle awards 2 AP, which helps increase Logan’s Adaptation Level and enhances his combat options. Whiskey Bottle Locations Guide – Marvel’s Wolverine
Whiskey Bottles are marked by a distinct blue scent trail when Logan is close enough to one. The best way to locate them is by following these trails, although some bottles are tucked behind breakable barriers, inside buildings, and on rooftops.
You can make your search for the bottles easier by using the Crate Finder and Whisky Finder Adaptations, which increase the range at which collectibles can be detected and allow them to be spotted through obstacles. There is also a visual accessibility option under Settings > Visuals > Collectibles and Interact Shader that can make collectibles easier to see.
Each Whisky Bottle gives 2 AP, and collecting all 20 unlocks the Full Barrel trophy. Your progress can be checked through the Collectible Tracker in the pause menu, while the Nightmare Cabin also lets you keep track of what you have already found. After completing the story, you can use Chapter Select from the bed in the Nightmare Cabin to return to earlier sections.
Canada Whiskey Bottle Locations
There are 5 Whiskey Bottles to be found in Canada. Their locations are marked below:
Bottle # 1:
The first bottle is Uncanny Whisky, which you can find automatically during Homecoming in Canada. When Logan tries to enter his old room and discovers that his belongings have been moved, use his senses to follow the scent into the nearby room. The bottle is part of the story and cannot be missed.
Bottle # 2:
Next is Incredible 181, found during The One That Got Away in Vancouver. After sliding down the pole and reaching the industrial area near the abandoned mansion, continue forward instead of following the first scent trail. At the far end, you will come across wooden panels marked “Do not enter.” Break through them to enter the garage, where the bottle is waiting on the left.
Bottle # 3:
You will come across The Cold Lake bottle during Raise Some Hell. After leaving the refinery and entering the container yard, head down the stairs and move toward the left side. Continue past the forklift and along the row of blue tanks until you find a yellow door. Break through it to reach a small break room. The Whisky is sitting on top of the second green generator on the left.
Bottle # 4:
During Strays, you will find Blood Debt inside Walter’s Lab at the Essex Institute. After receiving the objective to locate Leech’s drawings, enter the lab and check the area near the bed, and you will see a bottle on the table.
Bottle # 5:
The final Canadian bottle is Not Dead Yet, which can be found early in Something Much Stronger. After sliding down the snowy section and entering the stream, move forward and climb the rock wall on the right near the Hay Target. Follow the path until Logan detects the Whisky’s scent, then enter the nearby cave. You will see the bottle on the rocks toward the back.
Madripoor Whiskey Bottle Locations
There are 8 Whiskey Bottles present in Madripoor. Their locations are detailed below:
Bottle # 6:
When Knock Knock begins in Madripoor, you can collect Tenth Man shortly after Logan destroys the signal tower. Once you regain control, look for the scent trail leading up the rubble and through a broken window. Enter the building and check the counter on the left to find the bottle.
Bottle # 7:
After Logan disables the Propulsion Tunnel during the mutant detection, Fist of Legend is hidden. Follow the scent through the yellow corridor until you reach a locked door surrounded by crates. Destroy the crate blocking the keypad and enter the code 5413. Move inside and find the opening leading down through a vent and follow it into the next room. The Whisky is sitting on a table there.
Bottle # 8:
During One Last Mission, look for the Old Man at the Princess Bar. Turn around facing the outdoor balcony after the scene with Victor, and you will see the bottle placed along the green railing nearby.
Bottle # 9:
The Wild Canadian Whisky is found later during Way Down Low. After recovering Tyger Tiger’s files, use the ascension cable to reach the rooftops and deal with the snipers. Once the area is clear, return to the top of the cable and follow the scent toward a nearby balcony. The bottle is sitting on a table around the corner.
Bottle # 10:
You’ll find Little Uncle in the same chapter. From the rooftop containing the Nightmare Door, move to the back right side and look down toward the building below. The bottle is on a table on the lower roof, with the scent trail leading down the nearby stairs.
Bottle # 11:
During Roll the Dice, collect Blood and Bourbon near the beginning of the chapter. Enter the casino and head upstairs toward the bar on the second floor. Follow the scent to the bartender and interact with him to obtain the bottle. If you don’t collect it immediately, you can return to the bar after the fighting begins, although you need to take it before entering the elevator with Jean.
Bottle # 12:
The Captain Terror bottle appears during Field Test. After the third Sentinel encounter inside the warehouse, leave the building and head toward the upper walkway. Continue outside to the balcony, where the Whisky can be found on a small table.
Bottle # 13:
The final Madripoor bottle is Ol’ Canucklehead, found during I’m Still Here. In the early maze section, move through the rubble and the yellow walls until you reach the area with the large Sentinel. Once you have defeated it, continue through the hole in the pink wall and enter the Princess Bar. Go upstairs on the left side and follow the scent toward the rear window to find the bottle.
Japan Whiskey Bottle Locations
Japan has 7 Whiskey Bottles. Their locations are:
Bottle # 14:
The Patch Whisky Bottle is found in Shinjuku during Get Angry. After entering the bar from Jean’s vision, head downstairs and take the right-hand route into the bathroom. Look for the strange face on the wall and interact with it. This moves the object blocking the utility area, revealing the bottle.
Bottle # 15:
During Bad Blood, you will find Fatal Attractions while climbing toward Shiro’s penthouse. After meeting Jean outside and entering the construction area, look for the XP Cache and drop to the lower floor behind it. The nearby Material Crate marks the area where the scent trail begins. Follow it upward and use the Launch Point to reach the Whisky sitting on a box covered with blue tarp.
Bottle # 16:
Best There Is is another Shinjuku collectible from In the Shadows. While searching for the Mutant Detectors, head toward the third detector in the garden area near Muramasa’s Memorial. Use the ascension cable to reach the rooftop, then drop onto the lower roof and follow the scent. Jump across to the next rooftop and check the small table with the armchair to find the bottle.
Bottle # 17:
There is also another bottle from In the Shadows known as Berserker Brew. After meeting Jean at the Hand hideout, enter the room lit with red lights where the three Chosen are located. Move around the room to pick up the scent and check for the bottle on the table near the two seated men.
Bottle # 18:
Hand of God is found during Death Comes to Death. After the restaurant ambush, follow the scent behind the bar and into the kitchen. Continue through the freezer area, then climb upward and cut through the yellow barrier. The Whisky will be on a rolling cart farther along the route.
Bottle # 19:
During We Were Wrong, look for Revolto after leaving the UFO-themed restaurant. In the streets, keep following the footprints until you reach an intersection with a truck. Turn left and follow the scent behind the white truck, where the bottle sits on a stack of cinder blocks.
Bottle # 20:
The final bottle in the Japan region is The Itsu Single Malt, found in Hell Followed with Him. After Jean raises the rocks so Logan can climb, go on the rooftop and move onto the nearby deck. Look for the scent at the back right side, then jump over the railing and descend the rock ledges. The bottle is resting on barrels at the base of the building.
