This Elden Ring guide details how you can get all Torrent skins in the new Tarnished Edition update. These skins can be obtained from different locations across the map. Once you collect them, you can change Torrent’s appearance from any Site of Grace.
Torrent Skins Locations Guide – Elden Ring Tarnished Edition
There are three skins that you can find and collect for Torrent in the Tarnished Edition.
Tree Sentinel Skin:
The first skin is the Tree Sentinel Skin, which you can obtain after defeating Godrick the Grafted, who is one of the earliest bosses in the game. Once you have defeated the boss, head towards Stormveil Castle and enter it. Then, make your way towards the Throne Room through the stairs.
Now, normally you would go towards the left, but for this new item, take a right instead and enter a small room where you will find a newly added chest. Open it to get the Spectral Steed Regalia for the Tree Sentinel, allowing Torrent to get the Tree Sentinel skin.
Carian Silver Skin:
The second Torrent skin you can obtain is Carian Silver Skin, which can be found at Ranni’s Rise that is located at the center-left of the map.
After defeating the boss at Royal Moongazing Grounds, the site Ranni’s Rise will become accessible, and you can use the Site of Grace outside the Ranni’s Rise tower to make your trip easier.
Go to Ranni’s Rise and check out the Site of Grace. There is a new chest inside the tower; opening it gives you the Carian Silver’s Spectral Steed Regalia. Once picked up, go to any Site of Grace and choose Change Spectral Steed Appearance. The Carian Silver will now be available with all the other Torrent unlocks you’ve earned.
Funereal Knight Skin:
The third and final Torrent skin is the Funereal Knight Skin, which can be found outside the Capital. If you have the Outer Wall Battle Ground or Hermit Merchant Shack’s Sites of Graces unlocked, just go to one of these areas and ride down to the area.
Once you arrive, you’ll see several swords poking out of the ground. The item you want is located close to the sword on the left side of the area. Take a close look around that sword and collect an object in front of it. This piece will unlock Torrent’s Funereal Knight appearance.
How to Change Torrent’s Skins:
Once you have acquired a new skin for Torrent, you can outfit the new appearance from any Site of Grace. While at a Site of Grace, check for the Change Spectral Steed Appearance choice that is at the bottom of the menu.
Click on it, and you will see the different Torrent skins that you have now, and you will select the Tree Sentinel option. Once you confirm your choice, Torrent will instantly assume the new look.
