Martyr’s Tomb Guide – Mortal Shell 2
To reach Martyr’s Tomb, head towards Widows Overlook Beacon.
Upon reaching it, leave the beacon and walk towards the right side. You will encounter some enemies along the way that you must defeat to progress ahead. Once you’ve dealt with the enemies, enter the nearby building, which is the entrance to Martyr’s Tomb.
Once in the tomb, head down and defeat any enemies that come in your way.
Eventually, you will come to a gate that will block your path. Initially, the gate may appear closed due to beams, and it is possible to interact with the beams to open the gate. However, that won’t be enough to open it, and you will need to locate a hidden button that opens the gate.
Turn around and go to the back, where you will find some boxes. Destroy these boxes to get to the room behind them, where you will find the button mounted on the wall. Simply touch the button to open the gate. After that, you will be in the next room, where you will be locked in with an enemy that you must defeat.
Defeat the enemy and then search the room for the chest. Opening the chest will reward you with a Tar Stone (Parasitic Stone).
Once you’ve picked up the Parasitic Stone, you’ll notice that you can’t see a way out of the room. But there will be a clue nearby that will help you escape the room. At the back of the room, you can find a note. Read the note carefully, as this is the key to escaping from the room.
Look toward the top of the gate using your sidearm. There will be a part in the note, and shooting it will open the way out. After you’ve set the mechanism, you may go back out of the room and proceed to the dungeon exit.
