This Moonlight Peaks Transformations Guide details how you can unlock various forms of your Vampire character and what each transformation will let you do. These forms are new modes to navigate the map and unlock areas that are not present at the start of the game. These include the Hellkitten, Mermaid, and Bat forms.

You can unlock three unique transformation forms in Moonlight Peaks:
How to Unlock Hellkitten Form
Hellkitten, which is also known as Cat Form, is the first transformation you can obtain in Moonlight. It provides you with the quickest possible movement around the map and lets you interact with your animals on the farm in a different way.
You will only be able to find it after finishing The Dinner Party story quest. The quest begins early in the game, after the cutting scene in which Brook and Orlock argue over the Crests.
Go through the goals needed to plan a dinner party. After you have made all the preparations, a magical incident takes place when you watch the cutscene at Ambrosia Manor, unlocking your first transformation.
Once you gain the Hellkitten Form, you can use it in the transformation wheel by pressing the left bumper button and then pressing Hellkitten. Once you have transformed, you will see that you can move around on the map faster and utilize several abilities that you can’t use as a regular unit. Hellkitten Form also lets you communicate with animals by interacting with them and dig while in the form.
How to Unlock Mermaid Form
Mermaid Form is the second type of transformation you can obtain in Moonlight Peaks. This metamorphosis differs from Hellkitten Form as it is about exploring separated areas by water. For mermaids, swimming and diving into ripple spots will grant access to other areas of the map that would previously have been inaccessible. To unlock it, you must complete the Mermaid story quests.
A part of this progression involves you removing the tree blocking the waterfall in the vicinity of Luna’s farm and repairing the bridge in the Howling Marshes. Once you’ve finished all of these goals and finished the quests with the Mermaids and Ludo, you will eventually reach Mermaid’s Wish story quest.
This quest will involve Samuel and Kim; one of the major goals is to assist Kim in getting her ‘land legs,’ and eventually you will get the Mermaid Form. In order to take part in the quest, two special shells must be gathered. One of which will be located at Misty Shores, down on the beach from Ambrosia Manor. The other is within the Cave of Echoes, where the Copper Ore transitions to Iron Ore.
After gathering both the shells, grind them in your Alchemy Mortar. Once the materials are prepared, hand them over to Luna Bay and then proceed with the quest.
After the cutscene, Mermaid Form will be unlocked, just like Hellkitten Form was unlocked. Moreover, you can alternate between the two Forms as desired.
How to Unlock Bat Form
