Frontier Legends Launches Major Update with Dedicated Servers, New Crafting, and a UI Overhaul

Frontier Legends Update

Developer and publisher Neojac Entertainment has released the first major content update for Frontier Legends, addressing a rough launch and a wave of player feedback with changes to the game’s interface, building system, and server infrastructure.

Players will be happy to know that the game now has official dedicated servers, alongside the ability for players to rent or host their own servers independently. The studio is framing it by giving players more control over how they experience the game, whether that means a small private world shared with friends or a larger community-run server.

The interface has been overhauled to better fit the game’s western setting, with improved layouts, clearer item rarity indicators, and better inventory management throughout. A new social system has been added alongside it, letting players add posse members, share claims, and build settlements together. UI overhaul includes:

  • Improved interface layouts and usability
  • Better item management and inventory displays

The update also brings a new progression system introducing new mining and crafting resources, including coal, nickel, and tungsten, unlock around 50 new craftable items. The update also expands equipment options significantly, adding 60 new tools and recipes, 70 new guns, and three new bow types, with tool rarities now following their own distinct progression paths.

Frontier Legends Update

Building has been reworked into a modular system, letting players piece together structures from individual foundations, walls, doorways, windows, and roofs. Neojac has confirmed this is only the first step, with more designs, materials, and customization options planned for future updates.

Alongside all of the above, the update includes a large number of bug fixes, optimizations, and gameplay improvements based directly on community feedback.
