Frontier Developments has launched the Rebirth Expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 3, available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for $24.99. Launched back in October 2026, Jurassic World Evolution 3 is the latest title in Frontier’s long-running dino park simulation series and offers the most detailed version of the franchise to date. Since its release, the game has received multiple DLCs, such as the Wetlands. Rebirth is the first proper major expansion for the game, and players can now jump into the new content.
The expansion is set before the events of the Jurassic World Rebirth film and drops players onto Île Saint-Hubert. This previously unseen island hides one of InGen’s secret facilities. The campaign unfolds across three distinct locations: the Main Facility, Ancient Valley, and Riverside Lab, each with its own layout, challenges, and atmosphere.
It’s a tighter, more varied structure than the base game, and the new Assignments system gives players more freedom in how they approach it. Rather than following a fixed path, Site Managers can push the main story forward through priority Assignments or branch out into optional ones that unlock new genomes, experimental traits, and research opportunities.
Four species are making their debut in the game, all pulled directly from the latest movie. The Mutadon, Aquilops, Titanosaurus, and Distortus rex are all here, and returning fan favorites including the T. rex, Spinosaurus, Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Dilophosaurus, and Velociraptor have received movie-accurate model updates and new skins. Keeping the Mutadon contained is its own challenge, as the species has a reputation for breaking out. This is where the new open-air aviary comes in. Built with extra vertical height and no visual obstruction, it’s designed to hold even the most escape-prone flyers.
The expansion also introduces geothermal power to the series for the first time. Rather than managing energy site by site, players can tap into the island’s natural geothermal output and upgrade power capacity across all three locations simultaneously. It’s a meaningful quality-of-life shift, and combined with the new shared cash system across sites, managing the island feels noticeably different from the base game. Seven new experimental traits round out the additions, offering high-cost, high-reward biological modifiers that change how dinosaurs behave around ranger teams and other species.
Launching alongside the expansion is Update 1.3, a free update for all Jurassic World Evolution 3 players. It adds semi-aquatic behavior for the T. rex, Cretaceous cruise functionality in aviaries, the return of Cearadactylus from Jurassic World Evolution 2 as a family unit, handheld flares for ranger vehicles, and a range of drone additions. The Rebirth Expansion is out now, with the base game available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, along with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, priced at $59.99 for the standard edition and $74.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
