This Subnautica 2 Guide shows you how to unlock room recipes or blueprints, so you don’t run out of items at your base. In Subnautica 2, if you want to make your base more complete, exploring the Woo Woo Lang Hai compound is a great place to begin. This underwater location hides several useful room blueprints, including decorative furniture and an important ladder recipe. The area can feel confusing at first because of its maze-like layout. But once you know the correct path, collecting the scans becomes much easier.
Ladders Guide – Subnautica 2
The compound is located around 400 meters north of the starting lifepod. You may already receive a black box signal that guides you close to this area. Since the location is fairly deep underwater, you should move carefully and keep an eye on your oxygen while exploring.
As you enter the structure, look for the entrance that leads deeper inside rather than the smaller side openings that quickly end. Once you swim through the entrance, you will notice there are many objects scattered around the facility that can be scanned. Chairs, furniture pieces, and other decorations can all unlock extra recipes for your base. So, keep scanning all of the objects and take your time at the base. Don’t rush.
A little further inside, you will come across an oxygen refill tank on the right. Staying near it for a few seconds restores your oxygen, making it much safer to continue exploring the deeper sections.
From the oxygen refill tank, continue forward, and you will see a ladder. Use the ladder that leads you to the upper section of the Woo Woo base. At the top of the base, you will find the blueprint fragments for a dining table. Continue through the nearby area, and you will discover another important scan, the ladder blueprint itself. Once scanned, both recipes will be added to your collection. These can later be used while building your base.
Even after finding the main blueprints, the compound is still worth exploring because there are many smaller items hidden throughout the area. So, take your time to explore the area.
